"An Evening of Poetry"

Creativity is Freedom

An Evening with Creative Talents was hosted and powered by iSPELL on September 20, 2020 @ 5 pm on Google Meet.

Eight members of iSPELL who have the creative hearts to express their profound emotions and thoughts were showcased by providing them a platform to pour their hearts on the virtual platform.

Ms. Reema Sharma from Chhattisgarh was the first one to showcase her creative talent in both English and Hindi.

Ms. Ranjana Dhruv of Chhattisgarh recited her poem 'The True Architect of the Nation: The Teacher' and a poem in Hindi too. She elaborated the role and functions of a teacher.

Dr. Veena Yogendra from Madhya Pradesh recited 'The Disappointed Ants' and a Hindi poem where she expressed her inner feelings and emotions.

Ms. Sukla Singha from Tripura nailed on the social context of our country and projected the true but sad reality of our so called educated Society in the poems 'A Promiscuous Witch ', 'To Those Who Ask '& 2 A.M.

Ms. Parvathy Ramachandran from Kerala captured everyone with her poems 'When Impossible Possibility Strikes' & 'The Best Wedlock'. Recently her anthology of poems ' Late Night Lantern' was released at Rajbhawan of Kerala by the Governor of Kerala. Her poems touches the heart and grills the mind.

Dr. Shamenaz Shaikh, from Uttar Pradesh, the talented artist in her poems 'Banu's Memories & Landscape of Life', expressed her emotions so beautifully that it reached the audience within no time.

Ms. Ayushi Tiwari from Chhattisgarh gave a spiritual touch to the event with her poem 'Spirituality' and a Hindi poem ' Khat ko Khat' in a very melodious way. Her style of presentation was unique and was applauded by the audience.

Dr. Murali Krishnan T. R. from Kerala in his poem 'Verses in Crisis' elaborated the reality of Covid times. His poem was highly inspired by T S Eliot the celebrated poet.

The entire session was magically, beautifully and creatively managed, guided and moderated by an erudite scholar and a great human being Dr. Neelanjana Pathak. She made the evening the most memorable one with her moderating talent.

A big round of applause to all the poets for such a beautiful rendition.

The audience were just awesome and have enjoyed every moment of the evening.
